CHIEF COMPLAINT: c/o dimness of vision in both eye & night blindness due RP since childhood.  He is known case of retinitis Pigmentosa since 2019. Side vision in both eye diminished compared to central vision. In peripheral vision, he can’t sense much colour and light perceptions.

PRESENTING ILLNESS:  A 35 years old male presented with history of night blindness since childhood. He has got loss of peripheral vision in both eyes and its central vision is good as of now. He has complaints of dimness in vision in both eyes in night time and in darkness. Conservative medicinal treatment is going on. Patient overall health is good.

He can see moving hands from 1 meter long in daylight but can’t recognize how many hands are there. Since 2019, his side vision also got affected along with night blindness. Now Patient has come for getting his RP treated by experimental stem cell therapy. He has been explained about status of stem cell therapy in India about experimental nature & he has agreed voluntarily to undergo this experimental stem cell therapy. Audi-visual consent was taken where we have explained about experimental nature of stem cell therapy in India.
